Getting the right training provider for your business or organisations needs is a simple task however it can be time consuming.

There is no doubt that providing training to upskill your present staff (paid or unpaid) increases motivation and productivity and reduces absenteeism.

If your greatest resource (people) feels their skills are being invested in then they in return will invest in your business goals and activities.

Motivation

We all feel valued when someone is willing to invest time, money or both in us. Being given opportunities to expand our skills and knowledge makes us more motivated and determined.

Outsourcing

Many organisations have the potential within their existing staff to fill the gaps that are currently outsourced to other expensive ‘specialists’.

Be creative look for alternative solutions. If the training doesn't need an accredited provider i.e. (NVQ) is there someone in the organisation who can deliver?

You may find that someone within your organisation has the knowledge that others are looking for: do they want to share it, are the comfortable training others?

Always check out the added value, as well as the training what else will 'outsiders' bring and offer.
